Thanks, Jeff. Always an enjoyable evening - if you like neat cars, of course!
Tired and Lame...anyone got a fresh idea?
I'm quite sick of cruise night disrupting Lockport on a regular basis!
There is a street one block to the north and one to the south. I'd say that a one block detour is hardly "disrupting" Lockport, especially on a Monday night.
The cruise was on Main St when I moved here and then moved to Ida Fritz Park during the Main St Reconstruction. I think it is a big miss to not move it back up to Main St. Let the shops stay open a little later and get foot traffic moving past their doors. Gathering all those people with the only offshoot business only going to Walgreen's is a big miss. Now that we finally have more places opening on Main and the surrounding streets, lets get this people magnet next to them.
Main Street sucked because of the spires. Lockport's biggest mistake. Hey, let's give some prime land and one of the best views in lockport to a government assist apartment complex full of old people and losers. Superfantastic.
Lockport can't even decide what to do with even more prime land than the Spires site, namely, the Canal St. triangle. The handling of that by the City of Lockport has been nothing short of disastrous-one mistake after another, tax breaks up the wazoo for a maker of electrical equipment's research division, so no real benefit to Lockport whatsoever! Oh, and what about the empty Old City Hall and the crumbling and extremely dangerous parking ramp on the corner of Main St. and Pine? The streets have also been looking pretty shabby again, lately, in the downtown area! I could go on, but why bother, since Lockport is losing population pretty steadily and is basically dying!!!
Wow, wonderful blog format! How lengthy have you been running a
blog for? you make running a blog look easy.
The overall look of your website is great, let alone the content!

Ive only been to lockport a few times my cousin lives there and hes always saying keep my classic out of cruiser nights I know he used to attend not anymore why is that is it as bad as nf like he says he says blink and half your car parts will dissapear and you can find em on internet for sale
Crap on people because they are old? So where are old people suppose to live? Grow up looser!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I cant wait until the cruise nights, they are a lot of fun :)
The no pets policy there is a joke. Some old lady with a yorkie gets told by the rent a cops to leave the premises with her dog yet Tyrone can walk his pit bull right by them 5 minutes later and they say nothing.
